The design for the 400 bed Redstone Lofts on-Campus independent student apartments project at the University of Vermont takes advantage of existing site and campus conditions in order to create a safe, sustainable and inclusive community that enhances student life. Two residential buildings are connected by The Lantern, a glowing visual landmark that provides a social and functional center for student life. A mix of studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom loft style apartments provide student residents with a variety of options for a modern residential experience. The project is targeting a LEED Silver rating.
